Different for Girls


Encompass is a self organised social / information group that meets monthly in Deeside.
A warm, friendly group of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people and friends who meet together monthly in Connahs Quay. We come from Chester, North Wales and surrounding areas. The meetings provide an opportunity to meet other gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and Trans people in an informal and safe setting.

We have speakers to entertain and educate from LGBT housing problems to makeovers, foods from the world to self defence. We sit and chat, meet new people and make new friends.The group has also been actively involved in a range of consultations by service providers and invite a range of speakers to provide information on your rights in an informal setting.
